Meet Dr. Erik Svans

Scottsdale dentist Erik P. Svans is committed to offering his patients the very best that dentistry has to offer, with the softest touch and using the latest materials and technology in dentistry. Like Dr. Gore, Dr. Svans has a passion for "life changing dentistry", helping patients improve and maintain a beautiful smile. Always learning, Dr. Svans makes a constant study of what is new to Dentistry, and incorporates those advances into the practice. Whether he's designing a smile, replacing a filling, or instructing a patient on the proper home care regimen, Dr. Svans loves to help people maintain their healthiest self.

Dr. Erik Svans is a 1997 graduate of the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Dental Association (ADA), Arizona Dental Association (AZDA), Dental prganization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS), World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI) and a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) and affiliated with the International College of Implantologists (ICOI).

Dr. Svans is committed to Continuing Education, attending numerous courses throughout the year to offer his patients the very best that dentistry has to offer. His focus on courses include Smile Design and Reconstruction, Dental Implants CEREC, Laser Dentistry, Teeth Whitening, Invisalign, and Dental Technology Advancements, In the future, Dr. Svans hopes to progress into instructing and lecturing as he gains more and more experience in Cosmetic Dentistry.

Individual:

Like Dr. Gore, Dr. Svans volunteers at the Scottsdale Boys and Girls Club and with the AADC "Give Back A Smile" Program. Dr. Svans grew up in Greenbrae, California, just north of San Francisco. He attended the University of California, graduating with a degree in Psychology, with a Biology Emphasis. Dr. Svans and his wife Jenny are new parents, with the birth of their daughter Sophia in March of 2008. Outside of work, Dr. Svans enjoys being a dad and husband first and foremost, but can also be found on the golf course, on the running trails, or on his road bike.
