Cerec Same Day Crowns Scottsdale Cerec Dentists
Without CEREC, most dentists must take impressions that are sent to a laboratory in order to fabricate a crown. The lab typically takes two to three weeks to create and return the restoration, which means that patients have to wear temporaries for the duration and then return for a second appointment. With CEREC, we simply take a digital image of your tooth (no gooey impressions!), design your final restoration chair-side with CAD (computer aided design), and mill your restorations in our office. It’s truly that easy! You can even watch as your restoration is being milled. CEREC essentially brings the entire lab process “in-house” which gives Dr. Gore complete control over the creation of your crown, inlay or onlay, or veneer. After the milling process, your restoration is polished, glazed, bonded and sealed to prevent bacteria from entering your tooth. All this in just one single visit for you! This means less time in the dental chair, away from your life.
